Wessex Wishes funds trip to Longdown Dairy Activity Centre for 30 children and eight adults from Bethany Junior School!

A Laguna coach picked up 30 very excited children from Bethany Junior School on Thursday, 24th September to take them to

Longdown Dairy Activity Centre for the day.

The children enjoyed feeding rather hungry calves who gobbled their bottles of milk extremely fast and then onto feed the small kids with their special food who also ate very quickly.

On then to the 'Barn' where they held and stroked very carefully, beautiful fluffy chicks and then guinea pigs none of whom worried about being held by these young children or the adults.

The children went on the tractor ride, then enjoyed their picnic lunches before running down to the play area where they enjoyed all the playtime activities such as the swings, slides and climbing frames.

Thank you to Kerry and the young farmers at Longdown for making their day feel very special. Laguna Coaches for their ongoing support and Bethany School teachers for always ensuring the children have enjoyable fun times.

Thank you to all our wonderful Committee and Supporters, without whom we couldn't possibly arrange these great enjoyable times for these very special children.

Much love to you all

Frances and Barry
