Raising funds for little Melody Rose Aggett
Wessex Wishes Committee Member, Christine Roberts arranged another very successful
Coffee morning with West Hants Restaurant and Bar Manager, Steve to raise really urgent and necessary funds for little Melody Rose who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Myeloid Cancer when she was just three months old.
Melody has endured a bone marrow transplant last August which unfortunately didn’t work for her and therefore, the only treatment available to keep her stable at the moment is medication from America costing £500,000 (£20,000 per month).
Thank you very much Christine and Steve for arranging such a great event which actually raised £709. Thank you also to all committee and friends who attended and/or helped including Barry Smith, Judy Hiscoke, Linda Valentine, Christopher, Phil and Joan Dewhurst, Jenny Bale, Jenny Davis and Steve Rabone.
Spotlight Theatre Choir (09.12.25)
Wessex Wishes was nominated by Sam Fyson from Bethany Junior School in Boscombe and a member of the Spotlight Theatre Choir for which we thank her very much.
The evening was a huge success raising £600 to be split between the three charity Organisations with Wessex Wishes being one of them.
The lovely sum of £200 was presented by cheque to Barry and I by some of the members of the Spotlight Theatre Choir at their rehearsal on Monday, 8th December at 7.30 pm.
Thank you to all those involved in the fabulous charity event.
